Every truck and load on one screen
The fleet view lists every driver on duty with their current work order, speed, and how long since their last update, grouped as loaded, en route, returning, or idle. The map beside it shows where each truck is, so you can plan the next load or answer a customer without calling the driver.

Route and fuel planning
Plan the route, and fuel where it costs less
Optionally, plan the driver’s route and find the best fuel prices along the way, so you know you’re saving money before the truck leaves. Add fuel and rest stops where the driver’s hours call for them, then save the plan and send it to the driver, and the Driver app’s turn-by-turn directions follow it.

Drivers work the load in the Strait Dispatch Driver app. Each step lands on the work order timeline the moment it happens, with the driver’s notes, so dispatch knows a load is running late before the customer calls.

Trip replay
Replay any load, across town or across the country
Every work order keeps its trip: the path driven, miles, driving and idle time, top speed, and when the truck arrived at and left each stop. Replay it at up to 8× speed to settle a disputed delivery time or check an ETA.
Load reports for your customers
When a customer questions a load, send them the record
A shipper says the truck was late, or a receiver disputes detention. Send them a one-page report for that load, built from the work order’s own record: the route, when the truck arrived at and left each stop, when it loaded and unloaded, and how long it waited.

Motive and Samsara are built into Strait Dispatch. Link each driver to their ELD driver and their real drive, shift, and cycle clocks show up right where you dispatch, so you know who can take the next load without logging in to another portal.
For OTR work we recommend linking every driver to your ELD. Drivers who are not linked still get an estimate from when they went on duty in the Driver app, against a 14-hour shift, but that estimate is not an official HOS log.

Some docks load you in an hour and some take four. Time on site records arrival and departure at every shipper and receiver, totals the hours past free time, and gives you the numbers for the detention conversation, or the invoice.
